Ice cube healing method

There is a place on the human body, where a daily use of ice cube will heal you, make you younger
and fill you up with energy. This place is located in the hole where neck and head are connected.

Chinese acupuncture named it Feng Fu, which means “wind mansion”.

The only thing you have to do is to place the ice cube on the Feng Fu point and hold it there for 20
minutes. You can use a bandage to hold it. In the beginning you might feel cold for 30-40 seconds,
but then the point will start to warm up.

  1. That makes sense…its the brain stem..where al the nerves from the brain for all the functions branch out… the head is heavy …causing inflamation on the brain stem esp when as we get older the inflamation would interrupt the signals the brain is sending out and functioning if all the systems…ice would cause that inflamation to go down… instead of ice I like an aluminum can you but it in the freezer then lay down w it it fits great in that area and when you lay your head back stretches and decompresses the neck…

  9. You should install anti-spam software on your website. Most of these comments are spam. I have blocked around 1200 spam comments in just two months. It comes with most good WordPress sites…

  10. This is what happens when websites just cull content from other websites. As my colleagues have commented on related articles on this subject, no Acupuncture Physician would actually recommend this; it has no basis in Chinese Medicine. As a journalist as well, it appalls me that sites like this just parrot information with no sources. Who exactly wrote this and where did they get this information from? And I’m sure you take no responsibility for distributing inaccurate health information….

    • I totally agree with you, Nicole. Why wouldn’t you back up your silly ice cube information with solid references? I can’t believe how many people get suckered into these types of articles. The sad part is that there is so many of these websites and they are streamlined into Facebook to misinform everyone with stupidity.

    • I agree with this. Though it actually proves to be a good way to get rid of a headache. The rest of the info just seems very far fetched

  11. Are there any case studies to the alleged health benefits/claims? I would not cinsider myself a great skeptic, naysayer, or debunker, I know of Rasa Tantra and other esoteric practices, but I would like to look into this further and it would only help your message to provide proof or potential mechanisms of action.

  14. There are probably alot of very simple things we can do that we just don’t know about. We can make up some of our own that work for us and then spread the advise here! 🙂

    • No, it’s not true. I am a acupuncturist myself and i don’t know one single Chinese medicine practitioner who would recommend this treatment. In fact we would consider it harmful to put ice on this area.

  15. I came across this article, there seems to be a lot of positive thoughts but I also heard it could be very damaging to apply cold temperatures to this point as well. Thoughts?

  16. Please explain the science behind this. Do you have any studies or scientific papers to explain this advice? Thank uou.

  17. Please explain the science behind this. Do you have any studies or scientific papers to explain this advice? Thank you.

  18. As a Licensed Acupuncturist and Board Certified Chinese Herbalist I can tell you that this article is absolutely FALSE. As a matter of fact, this point is used specifically to counter some of the effects of exposure to cold as well as the vasoconstriction that would occur following the use of ice in that area. Icing constricts blood flow which leads to more complications down the road. I would advise whoever wrote this article to do some more research before makings such a claim again.

  19. I’d be very interested to know your sources for the ice cube therapy and for the results that you claim for it. It does not look like a viable therapy to me, nor is it in accord with the principles of Chinese Medicine, despite the fact that you are suggesting the use of an acupuncture point. So, please, let us know the sources for the origins of this therapy and the sources for the supposed great results. Thank you.

  20. Yikes! Don’t do this! From a Chinese medical perspective you would NEVER want to put ice there. Where is the science behind the article? What are the qualifications of the author? I’m afraid the people who say this works have their brains frozen and non functioning. PLEASE DO NOT TRY THIS!

  21. My brother who has had many healthy issues did this and it changed his life.

Perhaps there is some validity to this. Wish I had more sources.

My shiatsu therapist / Chinese acupuncturist says its not unlikely that this would work since that’s such an important point on the body.

  22. Can one of you dissenters provide some evidence towards this being a poor spot to ice, so we can do further research before diving in?

  23. Of course this works. It is not sientific, Science brought us no Health, only sickness. Just try it and expirience. You will stimulate your immunesystem.

  37. Respectfully, to all of the acupuncturists who posted: Please, you say, “Do not do this”. Why not? You are doing the same thing of which you accuse this blogger . . . making a statement without supporting evidence. Being a somewhat unorthodox method does not negate its capacity to bring relief to those who have tried everything and are seeking something, anything that will help them. How can it possibly be worse than the chemical poisons ingested by people in the guise of “medicine”? Perhaps you should experiment a bit, think outside the box – unless there are serious contraindications, (and again, please tell us what they are) you may find a new tool for your medicine bag. Thank you.

However, I am sorry, because I can not subscribe to your entire suggestion, all be it exciting none the less. It seems to me that your comments are actually not completely validated and in simple fact you are generally yourself not fully confident of the point. In any event I did enjoy reading through it.
